Co-Teaching can be an effective instructional arrangement as long as both teachers remain innovative and energized to provide optimal learning experiences for all students. Research shows teacher innovation is nurtured from on-going professional development; thus, this workshop will provide strategies, practices and research to rejuvenate current co-teaching teams at all grade levels. Participants must currently be engaged in a co-teaching arrangement and attend as a co-teaching team (special education/ELL and general education partners). Each will recieve a copy of the book Making Thinking Visible by Ritchhart, Church and Morrision.
